DAY 3 - The Big Names Start Dropping Like Flies
|
21 October 2005
Chris "Jesus" Ferguson is out (11th), Barry Greenstein (10th) is out, and kathy Liebert (13th) is out. They`re down to 9, with only 6 destined to make the final table. You would expect to see "Action" Dan Harrington at this table, because he is currently 2nd in terms of chips and the best player left in the field.
It`s been a phenomenal World Poker Tour event, with over 400 entrants, and a world-class field. All the greats were here, and right now Ernie Scherer, a full-time poker player with a good record, has a huge chip lead. Minh Ly is probably the second-biggest name left in the running after Harrington. I would be surprised if Dan doesn`t win this or at least finish in the top 3 based on the way he has played throughout this event...we`ll soon see!
