No major revelations today but I can safely say that poker, more than
anything else, has the ability to bring you back down to earth in no time at
all.
After coming second in a multi table tournament and winning a couple of $10
sit & go`s I have played a couple of very mediocre games.
Valuable lesson learnt: don`t get cocky. If you get ahead of yourself, poker
will bring your right back down to mother earth. It`s back to basics for me
again but I am confident that I can pull it back. In both instances I was simply
not paying attention and had that attitude of "you can`t possibly have a better
hand, you`re bluffing". They weren`t....
