Bodog.com will introduce new multi table NL Hold`em tournaments with
starting stacks up to $2500, as opposed to the regular 1000 chips. It will also
increase the blind intervals in these tournaments.
The rationale behind this is to give players a better opportunity to compete, to increase the skill factor (which is a given if the stacks are larger in relation to the blinds), and to prolong the playing experience for online poker players (makes it sound like the Viagra of poker tournaments, but it a seriously good idea).
