June 8 - Live ring game, $20 re-buy. I only bought in once and walked
away with $200. I have been thinking a lot about why I did so well. Most
encouraging was the fact that I can`t really say I got a run of good
hands. I think I played position very well. I went into the game in a very
positive frame of mind. I took about half the money off a very aggressive
player. I managed to trap him twice in the same way. First I re-raised him
with nothing, but I figured he didn`t have much of a hand. Shortly
thereafter I hit a big flop, and re-raised him again. He obviously didn`t
believe me and called. I think I played position very well and moved in at
the right time when the table was weak.
June 10 - $20 Sit& Go, 4th. I hate 4th..
June 11 - $10 Sit&Go - 1st. Dropped back a level and finally won
again.
