Oldest WSOP Winner Paul McKinney Arrested
|
09 November 2007
November 9 - Paul McKinney might be 80 but there`s no way you`d let any girls in your charge sit on his lap. He belongs to that old world of poker whose poster child is famed pederast Amarillo Slim Preston, which is not to say that "Cigar" McKinney enjoys the company of underage ladies. He did, however, go on record as saying that his true loves were "moonshine, cigars, and young women" after becoming the oldest person ever to win a WSOP bracelet in 2005.
That quote might have been the first clue for the Tennessee constabulary who arrested McKinney`s entire home game (16 arrests in all) after they found untaxed liquor ("moonshine"), betting slips, and a schedule IV narcotic, which everyone is saying was ketamine (the date-rape drug ideal for subduing those "young women" who might otherwise baulk at doing the nasty with a geriatric country-boy.)
McKinney is expected to be charged with a felony resulting from the illegal gambling, the brewing of homemade liquor, and the ketamine possession.
When will the police leave these noble woodsmen gamblers from rustic America in peace? Do they not have anything better to do than shake down the elderly for victimless crimes (putting aside the ketamine for a second)??
There is no word on what the police did with the $20,000 in cash that was seized from the poker table when they raided the WSOP winner`s house.
This is one cool, if classless, grandpappy. Just thank your lucky stars he ain`t in your family.
