February 13 - As if there aren't enough lucrative poker tournaments to choose
from at a multitude of top online poker rooms, then one of the best,
PokerStars.com, has announced the launch of its dynamic new $2 million PokerStars Turbo Takedown poker tournament.
This hugely lucrative online poker tournament will take place on Sunday February
17th at 2:30pm ET at PokerStars.com, with an entry fee of 10,000 Frequent Player
Points (FPPs). This means loyal PokerStars players can use their saved FPPs for
a shot at the cash!
The good news is that PokerStars.com players who don't have enough FPPs to enter
the tournament can still qualify for a seat at this coveted and prestigious
online poker event, by entering a series of $2 million PokerStars Turbo Takedown
satellites from 10 FPPs each.
As one of the highest value online poker tournaments around, the $2 million
PokerStars Turbo Takedown is not for the faint-hearted, with the winner expected
to walk away with the mammoth $200,000 first prize, and one out of every three
players being paid out.
In terms of the remainder of the final table prizes, second place will receive
$120,000, third place $80,000, fourth place $65,000, fifth place $50,000, sixth
place $40,000, seventh place $30,000, eighth place $20,000 and ninth place
$11,000.
Each registered player at the $2 million PokerStars Turbo Takedown will kick off
the tournament with a $3,000 chip stack, with blinds rising every 10 minute.
