June 4 - It may not be too late to find yourself jetting off to Las Vegas to take part in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, despite the fact that WSOP action has already kicked off.
William Hill Poker is holding a massive qualifier event where the site said it would be giving away no less than forty prize packages to lucky players - totalling a whopping $520K.
The event will be held on June 14th and the prize packages will be worth over $13,000 each. This includes the R10K buy in fee for the WSOP Main Event, seven nights accommodation at the luxury Rio hotel where the WSOP is taking place and a further $2000 that players can use to spend at their whim or to cover travel expenses.
The June 14th qualifier event comes with a buy in price tag of $535 but William Hill Poker has even thought of that and is running direct qualifiers for this tournament as well.
William Hill cautioned that the prize is only being awarded to those who are legally able to play in a brick and mortar casino in the United States - players over the age of 21. In addition, prize packages cannot be transferred to other players or exchanged for cash.
The June 14th event will be the last iPoker Network Super Satellite event that will enable players to win tickets to the Main Event of the World Series of Poker.
The final table of the Main Event will be announced in July, however the actual game playing will only take place in November, following the same pause format as the year before.
