October 1 - Ultimate Bet's signature land poker event, the Aruba Poker
Classic is set to kick off in just two days, and excitement is mounting
high.
Ultimate Bet has already confirmed the attendance of 16 of its Team UB
players, who make up some of the best poker players in the world.
These include Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, as well as Billy Kopp, Shawn
Rice, Tiffany Michelle and the newest member of Team UB, Joe Sebok.
"This is one of my all time favorite poker tournaments," noted Annie Duke.
"While the UB community is famous for gathering together at all sorts of other
poker tournaments like the WSOP, Aruba is all about celebrating the success of
UltimateBet's online poker players."
"I can't wait to meet the people I play against online, party with old
friends on the beach and make some new ones," she added.
The Aruba Poker Classic kicks off on October 3rd and runs until October 10th
and offers huge prizes for successful players.
The tournament will take place at the Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino, with
buy ins costing $5,500.
Online players who still want to enjoy the action can either buy directly
into the event or win a seat through online satellites at Ultimate Bet.
Organizers of the Aruba Poker Classic are hoping that the defending champion,
the American Matt Brady who won $1 million last year, will play again this year.
Other big names in the industry who are expected to travel to Aruba include
Evelyn Ng and Mike Matusow.
