Bart Simpson to Host PALS Poker event
|
September 29 - Tomorrow (Saturday, September 30) Bart Simpson, or at least 'the
voice' of Bart Simpson, Nancy Cartwright, is set to co-host an all-star charity
event to raise money for the PALS Devonshire District youth centre for at-risk kids.
The Devonshire District youth centre is part of the Police Activity League
Supporters (PALS). Hollywood celebrities expected to attend the charitable poker event
include actors, Anne Archer, Laura Prepon (That 70's Show), Danny Masterson and
musician, Isaac Hayes.
The event will take place at 5:30pm at Nancy Cartwright's Northridge, California
home where guests will be entertained by live music, dancing, tons of booze and
the chance to compete in a real live poker game with fellow celebrities and
oodles of poker pros.
The game of choice will of course be Texas Hold'em. Players can enter the
tournament for a $1000 buy-in with an awesome first prize of a guaranteed seat
at the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
