Bluff Magazine Announces Bluff Poker Tour
|
October 30 - Bluff Magazine and Players Investment Company (PICClub) have joined forces in order to offer players an exciting opportunity to experience a great poker tournament. Bluff Poker Tour schedule has been announced for 2008-2009 and includes a series of online poker tournaments similar to the World Poker Tour. Players stand in line to win cash and a share in over $10,000 worth of prizes from sponsors.
In order to sign up for the poker tournament, players must open an account with PICClub and they will be able to deposit and withdraw funds into the poker rooms participating in the tournament. These poker rooms include Doyles Room, Pitbull Poker, True Poker and Reefer Poker. Bluff Magazine has reportedly chosen PICClub as a major sponsor as this site is becoming one of the easiest methods for players to deposit and withdraw funds from online poker rooms.
Once the players have created their account they will be allowed to participate in all of the BPT events scheduled to take place between October 30, 2008 and May 7, 2009. The buy-in for each BPT event is $10 + $1 and points are awarded for both the finishing positions and for actually participating. In addition, any player that manages to win a BPT event, manages to eliminate a PICClub Pro from any event or manages to finish in the top ten percent on the points leadership board will gain immediate entry into the Tournament of Champions Event taking place on the 10th May 2009. The winner of this event will receive the Bluff Poker Tour Champion title.
