June 14 - Despite the fact that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was implemented at the beginning this month, more US players than ever before are representing online poker sites at this year's World Series of Poker event.
The WSOP kicked off in Las Vegas this month and there are plenty of players who gained entry into the tournament by winning online satellites.
No other team is more red, blue and white than Team Bodog. It was noted this week that of the 32 players who form part of the team at the moment, there is not one that does not hail from the United States.
The states are well represented as well, with Chicago having the majority at six players. Other states are California, New Jersey, New York and Arizona.
Bodog Poker said that more players are joining all the time as they win their way into the Main Event through online qualifiers that are running at the online poker room.
This weekend, for example, saw ten new players qualify for the Main Event that usually carries an entry fee of $10,000.
The site is giving away hugely attractive prize packages worth $12,000, including entry fee and traveling expenses.
Bodog Poker is continuing with its 110% bonus on first deposits for new players who open an account at the site.
The site also boasts guaranteed security for a safe gambling environment, free play money tables and unbeatable customer service.
Bodog offers cash games, sit and go and multi table tournaments around the clock.
