March 22 - Cake Poker is trying to get the message across that it is
sending its players to the WSOP for non commercial purposes through a clever new
promotion.
The 'no strings attached' qualifiers to the World Series of Poker 2010 event
will mean that players are not required to wear the site's logos should they
win.
In addition, they are free to stay in whichever hotel they choose and use
their winnings to enter any WSOP event of their choice.
"We are excited about this year's World Series and are delighted to offer
satellites to our players," said the manager of Cake Poker, Lee Jones.
"Our players get to concentrate and focus on their game, instead of worrying
about wearing the proper shirt to keep their free hotel room," said Jones. "We
will show our appreciation and reward players who choose to wear our gear, but
we're certainly not going to police it. We think our players will appreciate
that we want to send them to the WSOP for the love of the game, not for our
corporate objectives."
Satellites are currently being held for packages worth $2,500 and $12,500.
Cash, Sit n Go and reward qualifiers will be held for these packages. Steps
packages will also held for the $2,500 packages.
Satellites for the $12,500 packages begin at only $3 and buy in fees for
Sunday finals cost $350 + $24.
Cake Poker is also running a 110% deposit bonus for players who fund their
accounts for the first time.
First players also enjoy a free tournament ticket to a weekly new depositor
freeroll with $500 in prize money up for grabs.
Using
online poker room deposit method Neteller account to deposit just $25 into a Cake Poker account until
April 1 will also earn the player entry into an exclusive $2,000 Neteller
freeroll that will run on April 4th, 2010.
