Fourth Poker Room Joins Playtech Italian Network
|
 September 30 - Something is happening in the Italian online poker industry, and this can be clearly seen in the incredible growth pace of the Playtech Italian poker network.
In a very short space of time, Playtech has added several new licensees to its network, bringing the number of online poker rooms in its Italian group to four.
The latest company to join the Playtech Itlalian poker network is a top Italian land and online poker operator, Cogetech, which has commissioned Playtech to provide it with an entire suite of poker games in tournament form.
Cogetech is the fourth company to join, following in the footsteps of Snai, Gala Coral's Eurobet Italia and Sisal.
A real money games format will be launched later this year, however, players can try out the new software in a play for fun format on Cogetech's online poker site.
The Chief Executive Officer at Cogetech, Fabio Schiavolin said: "We chose Playtech over other operators because they are one of the leading players in global management platforms with a very strong and liquid poker network. We look forward to working with them to provide all our customers with an exciting, reliable and continually evolving service which will provide the best possible player experience."
