January 22 -
Full Tilt Poker, one of the leading online poker sites in the
world, has introduced a brand new feature that will definitely appeal to speed
junkies.
The appropriately named Rush Poker will essentially rush players
through a game, without the need to hang around waiting for other players.
The feature is quite straightforward. If a player is dealt a certain hand and
doesn't want to play it, the "Fold" button is pressed. The player doesn't need
to wait around the table to watch the other players in action; instead he or she
is taken off to another table, where new players are waiting and new cards are
dealt.
The new feature was designed to minimize wait time between hands for players.
Players will become part of a larger pool of players and face off different
opponents each time they choose to fold their hands.
There has been tremendously positive feedback about the new feature by Team
Full Tilt members as well as players who have already tried it out.
"Had fun with Rush Poker a try on FTP. Cool, " twittered Full Tult Pro,
Howard Lederer, while fellow team member, Andy Bloch said: "Playing new Rush
Poker on Full Tilt Poker. Online poker may never be the same."
A TwoPlusTwo forum writer called the new Rush Poker: "Online poker on
steroids."
Another TwoPlusTwo member said: "Hats off to Full Tilt, the update is
awesome.
PokerStars should take notes. FTP has taken a risk deviating from the
norm and I'm sure it will pay off. Now that the two sites aren't as homogenous
they might start competing on price rake."
72% of polltakers in a unique survey on the new feature said that they liked
Rush Poker.
