September 30 - Players hoping to join one of the biggest tournaments to be
held outside the United States can do so buy winning satellites events online.
Boyle Poker was proud to announce that 1,271 direct buy in tickets
have already been sold for the Boylepoker.com International Poker Open event
next month.
The first lot of tickets for day 1A sold out this past weekend, while tickets
for day 1B sold out a few weeks ago already.
The International Poker Open is due to take place in Dublin, Ireland on
October 16 and 17.
"We're delighted to have sold out the direct buy ins almost three weeks
before cards are in the air but there are still plenty of opportunities for
players to qualify through our online satellites," said the Head of Boyle Poker,
Paul Spillane. "Also expect some more announcements before the biggest game in
town gets underway."
Last year, the International Poker Open attracted 1,300 players. If that
number reaches 1,347 players this year, it will make it the biggest tournament
ever to be held outside the US.
Boyle Poker is actively running satellites at its site for players to win
their place into this prestigious event.
For as little as $5 + 0.50, players can participate in satellites every
Sunday and Tuesday, which feeds into Thursday's super satellite (buy in $25 +
$2.5).
Players who enjoyed poker action at Boyles Poker over the summer and who
managed to accumulate VIP Club points will be able to enter the live tournament
with a higher than usual chip stack (up to 10,000).
Boyle Poker works off the successful iPoker network and is considered the
premier destination for European poker players. Unfortunately, US players not
accepted at this time.
