A new online poker room, Mansion Poker, will sponsor Manchester United replacing Vodaphone in the biggest sponsorship deal in the history of English soccer. The deal is worth $100 million over four years.
Mansion offers an online casino, sportsbook, and will launch an online poker room later this year. The company is owned by an Indonesian billionaire and has a huge presence in the East. The tie-in with Manchester United, arguably the most famous club in the world and who enjoy tremendous support, is obvious.
Mansion are based in Gibraltar and all their online gambling websites are regulated according to the laws of that territory. The exposure that Mansion will receive as a result of this sponsorship should make this a wise investment on their part.
Lawyers for Manchester United expect that the deal will be concluded by Tuesday at the latest.
