October 2 - After rumours and speculations hit the online poker industry, it
can be confirmed that Pitbull Poker has officially closed its doors.
The site has been the target of major cheating speculation by players who
posted on the 2 + 2 message board, who have long suspected that Pitbull Poker is
not playing its cards right.
The question of Pitbull Poker being a shady set up first came to light after
the site apparently refused to furnish hand histories to those who requested
them.
Since then, the owners and their employees have been involved in a fall out,
culminating in owner Keven Baronowski and his partner, known as Jordan, being
arrested in Costa Rica yesterday.
The two were caught trying to remove server equipment and computers from
their offices.
The pair were investigated for the police, who were probably tipped off by
disgruntled employees who had not been paid for their services.
Pitbull Poker raised eyebrows from their first day of operations, after
offering players a $10 bonus simply for signing up for a new account.
Their Flash based software may have impressed players at first, but there
were soon rumblings by players who claimed that bots were sitting in at tables
and superusers were to be found everywhere.
It was soon discovered that Pitbull Poker wrongly claimed that it was located
in the United Kingdom, when all the while it was operating out of Costa Rica.
Online poker analysts are not very optimistic that players who hold accounts
at this site will see any of their money returned.
