Tournaments will run each day at 1.10 pm and 9.10 pm (ET), with the top placed winner earning 20 points and 10 points for the 9th place.

Lots of points are lined up for players who do well in these events. Players who cash will receive five points, while anybody who even enters these tournaments earns one point.

Players who have accrued the most points by the end of each month of the League will earn even more cash.

The top 50 finishers will all win cash, with the top winner taking home $300 in prizes.

Those who win the most points by the end of the year will win unique PokerStars Ladies Luxury Event packages and cash prizes.

The top places player will win $2000 as a well as a luxury event package, while the runner up will win $1,000.

There has been a growing call for ladies only events at online poker sites, allowing women to play in an 'unintimidating' environment.

"It's not conceding that women don't have the ability to compete with men or about skill levels, it is about overcoming the intimidation factor, and that includes the socializing element of al all women's event," explained 2009 WSOP bracelet winner, Linda Hamilton.
