PokerStars Players Represent at Cannes - 06-04-07

June 4 - Online poker players from leading poker room, PokerStars.com, mingled
with some of Hollywood's finest this past week at the prestigious Cannes Film
Festival, held every year on the picturesque French Riviera in the south of France.
Sharing the red carpet with film stars such as George Clooney, Don Cheadle and
Brad Pitt, were 'poker stars' SM4RTASS, berchem13, herbert and JaspudUF, as they
enjoyed the premier of upcoming Hollywood blockbuster, Ocean's 13.
The four lucky online poker players earned their coveted spots alongside the
stars by coming tops in a recently runPokerStars.com charity poker event that saw the proceeds going towards aid to the war torn Sudanese Darfur region.
The PokerStars.com 'stars' felt what it was like first hand to be in the glare
of the spotlight and hundreds of paparazzi camera flashes, as they arrived in
their stretch limo, ready to enjoy the long-awaited movie, and the third in the
series.
After the film, the PokerStars.com team were treated to VIP treatment at various
exclusive Cannes parties, where they rubbed shoulders with even more rich and
famous folk including petite singer Kylie Minogue and top director Quentin
Tarantino.
