PokerStars.com Launches Moneymaker Millionaire Tourney

 July 26 - Leading online poker room,
PokerStars.com has recently launched Moneymaker Millionaire tournament,
possibly the most lucrative 'free to enter' online poker tournament in the
history of the Internet.
The Moneymaker Millionaire poker tournament was inspired by 27-year old
accountant Chris Moneymaker from Tennessee, who in 2003 turned a $39 PokerStars.com
online satellite tournament into a staggering $2.5 million windfall at that
year's
World Series of Poker.
Moneymaker Millionaire kicked off on Monday this week (July 24th) at 7pm GMT on
PokerStars.com,
giving online poker fans from all over the world the
opportunity to compete for some of the lucrative $2.5 million prize pool, including a brand new
Aston Martin DB9 Volante and a trip to the Bahamas.
The trip to the Bahamas comes complete with the chance to play poker until there
is only winner, who will walk away with the $1 million first prize.
 From now until December,
PokerStars.com will prove that every online poker
player has the opportunity to become a 'Moneymaker' through a series of daily, weekly
and monthly online poker tournaments.
The first time entry is free for new and existing customers, and all subsequent
entry costs are based on 10 Frequent Player Points (FPP).
Said Chris Moneymaker, 'PokerStars.com gave me all the experience I needed to
become the WSOP champion. I proved that regardless of a player's level of poker experience, everyone has a shot at winning part of PokerStars' $2.5 million
prize pool.'
