Take on The Headhunter Challenge at InterPoker
|
 June 18 - In competitive poker tournaments there is always the risk that you'll
be knocked out without winning a cent, even if you beat out hundreds or
thousands of other players. This is why InterPoker has introduced its Headhunter
Challenge.
The Headhunter Challenge is a new type of InterPoker multi-table online poker
tournament where players win cash for every player they eliminate. This means
that even though a player may not make the final table and 'official pay outs',
he or she can still win some cash!
InterPoker players that enter a Headhunter tournament pay the regular buy-ins
and entry fees. However, unlike in regular online poker tournaments, the prize
pool is then split 50/50, with 50 per cent going to the regular prize pool and 50 per
cent going to 'heads'.
The way 'Heads' works is that anyone who knocks out a player will receive that
player's 'head' cash. So it follows that the more players a player knocks out, the
bigger their head cash count will be and the more the other players will gun for
them.
Once the tournament is over, even if you didn't make it to the
final poker prize pool, you'll still be credited with a cash
value as per the number of heads you collected during the tournament ensuring
that your hard work is rewarded.
If, however, thanks to your poker skill and prowess, you finish tops in The Headhunter Challenge, you'll win the tournament first prize
PLUS the value of
the heads you collected throughout the tournament PLUS the value of your own
head!
Always remember, however, that the rule of thumb with these tournaments is 'don't lose your head!'
