World Poker Tour Extends Cryptologic Contract

March 19 - Cryptologic Limited, one of the world's leading online gaming software providers, has announced that it will be extending and expanding its relationship with World Poker Tour (WPT), a top gaming brand in the poker industry.

While Cryptologic presently provides software to the official WPT poker room, the company announced that, under the new deal, it would be expanding its product offerings to create German and Spanish poker rooms. This is in response to the incredible growth of the poker industry in these two language markets, as well as the growing popularity of the World Poker Tour brand around the world.

In addition, Cryptologic announced that the present contract will be extended to 2011, a clear indication that both parties are more than satisfied with the partnership.

In 2007, WPT began using Cryptologic software on its site (www.worldpokertour.com) and very soon understood the success that the package brought its brand. Besides a broad poker offering, players could also enjoy several traditional online casino games. Under the terms of the new agreement, World Poker Tour will upgrade its casino suite to a full 200-game package, over and above the poker range.
