Absolute Poker to Host Free Turkey Bowl Tournament
November 19 - The online poker room at the centre of a recent 'cheating scandal'
due to an internal security breach, Absolute Poker, is trying to make amends to
its once loyal poker fans by hosting its inaugural Free Turkey Bowl online poker
tournament with a $5000 prize pool.
Tired of feeling like the 'turkey' of the online poker world, Absolute Poker is
running the free Turkey Bowl online poker tournament to coincide with and
celebrate the American holiday of Thanksgiving, where turkeys are traditionally
roasted and enjoyed with the family.
2000 Texas Hold'em fans can guarantee themselves a seat at the Turkey Bowl by
playing at least 3000 raked hands between now and November 27th, whereupon those
players that qualify will receive an email informing them of their eligibility
for the tournament.
Said Absolute Poker senior vice president, David Clainer, 'This is one
Thanksgiving feast that will leave everyone at the table feeling satisfied and
we are looking forward to a good field eager to tackle some turkey.'
