Actress Confesses to Poker Addiction
|
 July 19 - Stunning American Pie actress,
Shannon Elizabeth, has rocked
Hollywood by admitting that she is hooked on playing poker, and spends much of
her time in Las Vegas playing against some of the finest poker players around.
Said Elizabeth, 'I have completely become addicted to the game of poker, in
fact, it has almost become my second career. I try to get to
Vegas at least two or three times a month to get some poker action.'
No stranger to poker, the beautiful actress who nearly bared it all in American
Pie, has played in many professional poker tournaments and is often seen
at charity poker events.
Shannon
Elizabeth has even played in several 2005 World Series of Poker events including the
Main Event.
At this year's WSOP Ladies Event, she made it to the second day but just out of
the money.
She also won Nicky Hilton's New Years Eve Poker Tournament at Ceasars Palace, and came 6th at the Las Vegas Poker Invitational in Park City,
Utah in January this year.
