Bigger and Better Avalanche Set for Everest
|
January 7 - It is official - top-quality online poker room, Everest Poker, will
be bringing back its much-loved annual poker tournament, the Everest Poker
Avalanche, which according to the folks in the know will be bigger and
better than ever before.
The 2008 Everest Poker Avalanche is expected to snowball into a mother of an
online and land poker tournament, as players at Everest Poker will have a shot
at winning their piece of the tournament's super-lucrative - $1 million prize
pool.
In a message posted online at Everest Poker recently, the online poker room
explained how thanks to a lot of player feedback and interest in the Everest
Poker Avalanche, that the 2008 tournament will definitely be an event to watch
out for and take part in.
According to the message, the event organizers had made many improvements to the
Avalanche's qualifying structure, such as a range of weekly qualifiers, as well
as satellites, re-buys and more, which means that more online poker players have
a better chance to qualify.
Players can enter Everest Poker Avalanche daily satellites for the
event for as little as $11 + $1 which kick off at 12:15am, 9am, 2pm and 7:45pm
respectively. Then there are also a range of lucrative - $100 + $9 daily online
satellite open to weekly qualifiers.
Each of the Everest Poker Avalanche's weekly satellites have a $500 + $30 buy-in
and the winners of these events will have the opportunity to qualify
automatically for the May 10th Avalanche Online Final, which has a direct buy-in
of $3 000 + $150.
The 10 remaining players from the online final will be flown to an as yet
unannounced destination for a live poker showdown.
