Bodog Offering Players Chance to Win WSOP Seat
|
 February 6 - Bodog, one of the world's best recognized online gambling
destinations, has a treat in store for online poker players with news that its
online poker room is offering them a chance to win a coveted seat to the 2008
World Series of Poker.
As the largest and most popular land poker tournament on the planet, most
die-hard poker players from around the world will do their best to get hold of a
seat at the 2008 WSOP in Las Vegas later this year, and Bodog Poker is making it
even easier.
Bodog Poker will be running its exciting Poker Blogger Tournament Series, which
will see one lucky online poker player win a WSOP prize package worth an
impressive $12 000, as well as become an automatic member of the 2008 Team
Bodog.
The Bodog Poker Blogger Tournament Series consists of 18 weekly qualifying
online poker tournaments that kicked off yesterday (February 5th 2008) and will
run all the way to June 3rd. Players who finish in the top 30 percent of each
tournament will be awarded points.
Each weekly tournament has a $10 + $1 buy-in, and the respective prize pools are
distributed according to Bodog Poker's standard multi-table payout terms and
conditions. The top 5 players each week will also get to enter a weekly $100 000
Guaranteed Tournament.
Once the 18th qualifying online poker tournament is completed, the top 18
players with the most points will get to play in Bodog Poker's final tournament
on June 10th, where one lucky player will walk off with the $12 000 World Series
of Poker prize package.
