Bodog Poker Domain Returns To Former Life
|
June 15 - Following court cases, heavy penalties and a massive loss of business, Bodog has decided to start anew by announcing the official return of the Bodog.com domain.
In April 2009, the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group announced that after reaching an agreement with a company that challenged Bodog's use of its patent pending products, the Bodog.com domain returned to Bodog once and for all.
Until now, Bodog.com has been used as a geo-targeted redirect site but it was felt that the domain was too precious to be used for anything but the center of operations for US facing brands belonging to the group.
Alwyn Morris, the Chief Executive Officer of the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, said: "Gaining ownership of the Bodog.com domain was a moment of immense pride for me, but that moment has been topped by the return of the domain as the home of Bodog in the United States."
