Bodog Poker Open III Kicks Off
|
 April 27 - Sunday saw the kick off of Bodog Poker's third installment of its famous Poker Open tournament that has captivated players since its launch.
The Bodog Poker Open III (BPOIII) runs from April 26th to May 3rd and incorporates 26 amazing events in three different categories.
Players will enjoy the diversity of this three tiered tournament, as they can choose to play Money Added, Guaranteed or Bounty.
Three concurrent events will run during the tournament's time period - the Mini Bounty Tournament Series, the Mid Stakes Tournament Series and the Championship Tournament Series.
The Champions Series Main Event will be held on Sunday May 3rd.
Speaking for Bodog Poker, a member of its Pro Team, David Williams said: "The Bodog Poker Open has quickly become online poker's most talked about series as top pros and amateurs alike battle for the ultimate bragging rights and serious prize money."
"Bodog Poker has once again stepped up in a big way to sweeten the pot and make things interesting for everyone, and I'm sure ready to gun for the series' coveted crown and take on all comers looking to knock me out of any of the bounty events," added Williams.
Buy ins to the Championship Series begin at $50 + $5 and rise to $470 + $30.
The Mini Bounty Tournament Series promises just as much action over eight events, with $65,000 in total up for grabs.
