 June 28 - Popular online gambling group,
Bodog.com, has signed up as the
official sponsor of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' A Magic Night of Poker, Players
and Stars, an event designed to pay tribute to basketball legend, Magic Johnson,
as well as raise money for various charitable foundations.
CEO and founder of Bodog.com, Calvin Ayre will host the star-studded event in
Hollywood on
Friday July 7, 2006 at the Avalon and Spider Club, where proceeds
will go to Magic Johnson's own foundation as well as to the Baron Davis and Paul
Pierce Truth Foundations.

centered around education and other community activities aimed at underprivileged
youth.'
The poker event will feature top NBA players, celebrities and VIPs who will have
the opportunity to showcase their poker prowess in a Texas Hold'Em tournament.
The Magic Johnson Foundation raises funds for community-based organizations
dealing with HIV/AIDS prevention and education programs.
The Paul Pierce Truth Foundation and
The Baron Davis Foundation are both involved in helping to improve the quality
of life for disadvantaged and 'at-risk youths' and their families by
providing educational and life-enriching opportunities.
