Celebrate Oktoberfest with Party Poker

July 30 - Party Poker, the leading online poker room, announced the launch of a brand new promotion that will take 35 lucky players to the Oktoberfest in Munich this year.

Party Poker said that the promotion, which will launch next month, will be in the form of four one-week race points competitions.

From August 2nd, players can take part in the leader board challenge and collect points and cash.

The four winners from each of these week-long competitions will each win $2000 and 1000 points.

Party Poker explained the promotion in more detail:

"We've got 35 of these unique packages to give away via our brand new style of leader board challenge where there's also $75,000 in cash prizes to be won," said the group.

"From August 2, we'll be holding four weekly VIP points races. Each week you'll be able to win your share of our big money prize pools as well as gain valuable points towards our overall Oktoberfest leader board."

Party Poker said that the competition was exclusive to Palladium Lounge members only and required a weekly opt in.

"This new style of leader board means there's a whole four weeks of competition," concluded Party Poker. "No one player can run away with the lead after just a few days as there are vital leader board points up for grabs for the entire duration of the promotion."
