Centaurus Celebrates Two Years
|
June 25 - Generally when it is someone's birthday, they receive the prizes. This however, was not the case when Centaurus celebrated their second birthday. Hosting a unique second anniversary poker tournament, players were given the chance of taking home $1,000 at no risk in prizes.
Centaurus is a membership based online entertainment provider and decided that part of its two-year celebrations would include a special poker tournament. The $1,000 prize money was their way of saying thank you to their regular players for their support over the past two years.
Centaurus provides players with subscription-based online poker and blackjack tournament solutions. They recently reported that their network had paid out more than $2.6 million in cash and prize money since the start of operations two years ago.
Brett Calapp, CEO of Centaurus said that the company was very satisfied with the success of their gaming network over this period, especially given the state of the economy world wide.
