Cryptologic Creates Seamless Poker to Sports Betting Wallet

July 24 - Betsafe, the industry-leading online gambling company, which has been part of the Cryptologic online poker network since last year, announced that the software company had created an innovative new product for its customers that should make gaming sessions even more convenient.

Cryptologic has launched a seamless ewallet that will support Betsafe's online poker offerings, as well as its extremely active sports betting division. This new product will enable Betsafe customers to move freely between both the poker and sports betting platforms, and pay for their fun without the need to hold two separate wallets.

As a result of the new offering, Cryptologic said that it expects a significant increase in the number of players who cross from online poker to sports betting and vice versa. This also broadens cross-selling opportunities on both platforms.

The Chief Executive Officer of Betsafe, Henrik Persson said about the new payment method: "The launch of our single wallet is much awaited and we believe that this integration will have a strong positive affect on all our products."

When Cryptologic announced a slight drop in revenues in the first quarter of this year, Hadfield said that the quarter had been taken up by laying the foundations for future growth with investments in new games and products.
