Foxwoods World Poker Finals Is The Richest WPT Event Yet!
|
They're down to the final three players at the richest World Poker Tour event ever played - the Foxwoods World Poker Finals. Two of the remaining three players will become instant millionaires, and the winner will walk away with more than $2 million. Nick Schulman - $5,920,000 chips - has a huge lead right now over Tony Licastro - $1,050,000 chips - and Bill Gazes - $650,000 chips.
This poker tournament has been a huge success for both Foxwoods and the World Poker Tour. A field of 783 players at $10,000 a seat ensured that the prize pool was close to $8 million in total, with $5 million split up between the final table of six players. Top poker pro Allen Cunningham was in the mix, but has just been eliminated in 4th spot, and the man behind the World Poker Tour, Lyle Berman, finished 6th.
