Full Contact Poker Joins With PokerStars.com
|
June 13 - One of the Internet's leading online poker rooms, Full Contact Poker,
officially closed its doors yesterday as the poker room officially merged with
another top-rated poker destination, PokerStars.com.
While the two poker rooms have merged, Full Contact Poker is essentially no
more, with its impressive player base being offered the opportunity to quickly
and painlessly move their accounts across to PokerStars.com.
Even popular poker pro Daniel Negreanu, who was the official 'face' of Full
Contact Poker has emigrated across to PokerStars.com, joining its existing team
of former WSOP Main Event winners, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker and Joseph Hachem.
Said Negreanu after his move was announced, 'Since PokerStars.com was launched in 2001, I have always had a long and personal relationship with the folks
running the show and think that now that I've joined forces with them, we'll
make a great fit.'
All Full Contact Poker accounts will be closed by tomorrow (Thursday, June 14th)
so current Full Contact Poker players need to transfer their balances across to
PokerStars.com before then in order to access their money.
