Full Tilt and Pokerstars Sign up Top Poker Players

June 3 - As online poker sites recognize the huge benefits in signing up top industry players to join their exclusive site teams, Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars have added another two pros to their lists.

Kathy Liebert will join other professionals Joe Hachem, Daniel Negreanu and Greg Raymer to join Team Pokerstars Pro. This feisty player, who has won over $4.5 million in her poker lifetime, is one of the highest-earning female players in the history of the game. Among her achievements are a World Series of Poker bracelet, four WPT final tables and 24 WSOP cashes.

In 2002, Liebert won the Party Poker Million tournament and took home a cool $1 million for her efforts - her highest single cash win to date.

The other player to join an online poker team is the well-recognized Patrik Antonius, one of the most popular poker players on the entire circuit. Full Tilt Poker grabbed Antonius who is found playing mostly at this site anyway. The sponsorship deal means, however, that Antonius is obliged to play only at Full Tilt Poker.

Only this week, Antonius finished seventh place in the $10K Pot Limit Hold 'em event at the 2008 World Series of Poker event. He has managed to earn himself nearly $3 million in prize money in his poker career.

Patrik Antonius, a Finn by birth, discovered poker in his teens and began playing seriously online at the age of 18. He worked himself up, increasing his bankroll over time, by playing at online poker sites and entering tournaments. In 2005, Antonius won the Ladbrokes Scandinavian Poker Championships and since then he has become a regular face at online and offline tournaments.
