Full Tilt Online Poker Series Kicks into Gear
|
 August 10 - Top online poker room, Full Tilt Poker, kicked off its highly
anticipated fifth Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) this week, with a
lucrative $500 000 NL Texas Hold'em tourney on Wednesday, a $150 000 H.O.R.S.E.
event yesterday and a $200 000 Pot-Limit Hold'em tourney set for today.
Full Tilt Poker, which is well known for attracting online poker fans from all
over the world and offering hugely lucrative poker tournaments and promotions,
kicked off the 12-day-long FTOPS into full gear with an impressive $7
million in guaranteed prize money up or grabs.
Today's event, which begins at 9pm ET, will
feature non other than five-time gold bracelet winner and top-rated poker
professional, Allen Cunningham, who will certainly be a draw card to the $200 000
guaranteed Pot-Limit Hold'em tournament.
With a buy-in of $200 + $16, all registered Full Tilt Poker players are free to
enter this prestigious event and take a shot at winning the title and, of
course, generous $200k pay packet.
Tomorrow, Full Tilt Poker players can look forward to a $500 + $35 Pot-Limit
Omaha six-max event at 3pm ET, which will be hosted by Robert Mizrachi, a former 2007 WSOP Omaha bracelet winner, and brother to
talented Texas Hold'em 'guru', Michael Mizrachi.
