Get Ready for Poker in the Park III
|
June 26 - Poker in the Park is the largest yearly poker tournament in Europe, and will be celebrating its third year this coming August. Set to take place in the Texas Hold'em Tent, The Poker Dome, which will be located in Leicester Square, London, UK from 13 August through 14 August 2009, this year's Poker in the Park III will feature thousands of poker players from around Europe and perhaps the globe.
Bluff Europe, a top magazine for poker players, will be coordinating this year with eleven of the top UK pubs in sponsorship to invite thousands of poker players to participate in the Poker in the Park III festivities. According to the magazine, a highlight of this year's Poker in the Park III will be a series of eleven hour-long turbo sit-and-go tournaments, wherein as many as 80 poker players will be participating at a time. These turbo tournaments are each to be sponsored by a different one of the eleven top UK pubs who are co-sponsoring this year's Poker in the Park III.
Some of the poker leagues that have confirmed participation in this year's thrilling poker event include Big Time Poker League, The Nuts Poker League, Champions Poker League, Red Tooth Poker, Masters Poker League, LondonPubPoker.co.uk, and LondonPokerMeetUp.co.uk.
Bluff Magazine has stated that this year's quick-paced and top action series of poker tournaments is certain to provide thrills to players and spectators alike. Both players and spectators can watch the competition either live in the Texas Hold'em Tent or via big-screen views, which will be broadcast throughout Leicester Square.
