Inaugural Bodog Poker Open Tournament Underway

March 3 - One the world's biggest names in online gambling, Bodog, has online
poker fans champing at the bit with the launch today of Bodog's inaugural Bodog
Poker Open that is expected to attract a large number of Internet poker lovers.
Bodog founder and CEO, Calvin Ayre, is obviously hoping to put this new,
exciting and dynamic online poker tournament on the world poker map. For this
reason, the Bodog Poker Open consists of 5 preliminary events and then the final
on Sunday, March 9th.
Today, the Bodog Poker Open action is being kicked off with the No-Limit Hold'em
event, which has a buy-in of $250 + $20. As with all the preliminary events,
this tournament will also boast an additional $10,000 in prize money from Bodog,
in addition to the regular pay outs.

Event 1 - Monday, March 3rd - Texas Hold'em NL - Buy in is $250 + $20
Event 2 - Tuesday, March 4th - Texas Hold'em NL - Buy in is $300 + $25
Event 3 - Wednesday, March 5th - Texas Hold'em Re-buy - Buy in is $100 +
$10
Event 4 - Thursday, March 6th - Texas Hold'em Pot-Limit - Buy in is $200
+ $15
Event 5 - Friday, March 7th - Texas Hold'em Limit - Buy in is $150 + $10
Final - Sunday March 9th - Texas Hold'em NL - Buy in is $470 + $30
The lucky player that win the 2008 Bodog Poker Open will also go home with an
extra $25,000 courtesy of Bodog, over and above his or her scheduled winnings.
