Inter Poker Makes A Move to Boss Media Network
|
March 3 - It has been confirmed that the popular InterPoker website is making its official move to the Boss Media poker platform in mid March.
The shift to a new platform comes as part of a strategic decision by the site's current software provider, Cryptologic, to move all its poker sites en masse to the Boss Media platform.
In an email to a gambling portal, InterPoker confirmed the move by saying: "We are scheduled to move March 17th. If the date changes we will let you know as soon as we have further details."
Since Cryptologic decided to cut its operating costs by $13 million last year by shifting its poker sites to a third party platform, there has been a flurry of activity among these sites as they decide on their own future.
Not all partner sites are satisfied to move to the active Boss Media poker platform. Some have decided to shift to other platforms, such as Poker Plex and Sun Poker which moved to Playtech's iPoker network, or Betsafe, which joined the Ongame Poker Network.
Playboy Poker, another Cryptologic poker partner, decided to shut down its site altogether at the beginning of the year.
Making the move to the Boss Media network may produce some changes for InterPoker players, but for the time being, the site is still offering its excellent weekly 35,000 GBP guaranteed prize pool tournament that runs every Sunday. While buy ins begin at 120 GBP, players can also win their way into the tournament through daily satellites that start at just 11 GBP!
All in all, InterPoker gives away a guaranteed 4 million GBP to lucky winners every month.
New players can take advantage of a super 100 GBP/$200 welcome bonus as well as up to 100 GBP each month thereafter.
