James Woods would want it in this order: poker legend and then acting legend, even though he has appeared in more than 70 feature films and won numerous awards. James Woods would like to be known as the world's greatest poker player, and he's certainly recognized as a major threat at the tables.

A lot of actors fancy themselves as budding poker champions. Both professions require the ability to dissemble, to have an understanding of human psychology, and to feed off immense self-confidence. There are a lot of giant egos in the acting world and in the poker world, but most of them are dwarfed by James Woods' ego.
The fact of the matter, however, is that he can back it up with results so his arrogance is hardly misplaced.
Woods bio shows this time and again. He has won 3 Emmys, received 2 Academy Award nominations and worked with every big name in the business. His recent cameo appearance in the season premiere of Entourage also showed that he is not above poking fun at himself.
James Woods is an avid poker player and recently he has devoted more time to excelling at the tables than on the screen. He is the spokesman and chief endorser for Hollywood Poker, which runs on the OnGame network, and is taking off as one of the most popular new online poker rooms.
Our favorite James Woods story has to do with his ill-fated affair with Sean Young, the unstable actress that he met filming The Boost. Young stalked Woods after he broke up with her, and he eventually had to go to the police to stop her. But prior to the stalking he first knew something was seriously wrong with Young when they had an argument one night in bed. He fell asleep and when he woke up found that Young had superglued his penis to his thigh.
Woods was forced to go to the emergency room to come unstuck.
Woods was born in Utah in 1947 and his ambition is to win a major poker tournament. We feel that he can do this based on his skill and drive, so watch out for him at the 2006 World Series Of Poker!
