Leading Online Casino to Host UK Poker Open
|
 July 6 - One of the world's most visited online casinos, 888.com, has announced
that it will again be sponsoring the 3rd UK Poker Open, which takes place from
September 25th to October 8th this year in the quaint English town of Maidstone.
The leading online casino will host a field of top-rated poker pros in an
exciting event that is expected to be televised from the Marriott Tudor Park
Hotel & Country Club, where the event will be held.
In last year's UK Poker Open, 18 players shared the $1 000 000 prize pool, with
the $500 000 first prize going to Brit, Ian Frazer.

Pacific Poker until September 16, with UK Poker Open prize packages on offer,
worth $7500 each.

Daily satellite winners will compete each Sunday for the UK Poker Open prize
