My Full Tilt Payout Bounced
|
Author: Marc Weinberg
June 11 - It warms the heart to see Phil Ivey suing Full Tilt and boycotting the WSOP, although not sure about the connection. I'd rather see him in jail along with all the other Full Tilt Poker shareholders, but at least the man is taking a stand. As for the company he owned a piece of they're behaving with as much class as Mike Matusow on yeyo (look it up on urban dictionary you uncool person you). My Full Tilt check bounced, and they show no signs of paying out anyone anytime soon.
So what can a seasoned online poker player do with the remaining balance? Keep playing and make outrageous calls against the guy from Uzebikstan and all the other Euro clowns left on the site (if Uzbekistan is not in Europe but in Asia I apologize to everyone whose sense of geography was offended, but in my defense I think Uzbekistan was in Eurovision).
I don't care if I lose the hand since the money has no value. Full Tilt have repeatedly stonewalled their players with bullshit responses by their minimum wage customer service drones - the bottom line is they cannot afford to pay out all the withdrawal requests. I might frame my returned check and show it to future generations: "Look, this was a time when people were free to use the Internet".
In related news I just doubled up my balance playing Rush Poker, which is actually a nice invention, by slow playing my 48 diamonds against AA. The flop contained two 4s and you could hear my laughter all the way to Italy.
