Online Poker Strategy The Absolute Poker Way

There are so many tough online poker strategy decisions that need to be made at every juncture, and even the Texas Hold'em strategy experts make mistakes now and then. Can one play perfect poker online? The employees at Absolute Poker think you can and here is their handy one page guide, a "cheat sheet", to getting the money...
First: Discover an old test account from back in the day when you were first building your software. Dust off the cobwebs and keep it in your pocket while a software upgrade takes place in 2007.
Second: Use that old account to see everyone else's hole cards. You have no idea how much easier the game of Hold'em becomes when the hole cards of all the other players are dealt face up. Your cards remain hidden from sight of course, which is useful because bluffing becomes an important part of your strategy from here on in.
Third: Learn to make value calls. If an opponent holds KJ and bets on the river with a board showing QT358, and you hold A2 you want to call that sucker down. Similarly if he has a busted flush draw that is 9 high and you have no hand at all but do have Ten high then call as well, especially if that is the final hand of a major $1000 buy-in tournament.
Fourth: Invest in multiple accounts. You are going to play so cunningly and so often that you will inevitably make enemies. These people are jealous of your ability to see their cards, and so it makes sense to have many different online poker names at your disposal. Some of our favorites include "potripper", "graycat", "doubledrag", and "payup".
Fifth: Lay it down when you're beaten. This is the sign of a great poker player. Stare long and hard at the screen. If you have KQ and someone else is dealt AA you need to be the bigger man and fold. Conversely if you hold 26 off and you're under the gun feel free to chuck in a monster opening bet if no one else has a pocket pair or anything decent to call with. That's called "position betting" and every top player will salute your daring play.
Sixth: Go crazy! Take as much cash as possible at as many tables as possible in a short space of time. Win big tournaments by winning 65 hands out of the first 90 dealt. Remember the world is made up of idiots and no one will ever know that you have a so-called "unfair advantage".
Seventh: Work for a company that is as duplicitous and condescending as you are. They can shield you from any negative publicity and provide you with a calm and safe environment in which to perfect your online poker skills. If you are able to obtain a position of importance within that organization then so much the better!
