March 14 - Paddy Power Poker, one of the leading online poker rooms out
there, announced the launch of a brand new tournament that is scheduled for
Cheltenham Week.
The group said that the Paddy's Lucky Score promotion will copy the
excitement of the races to the site's poker tables, bringing plenty of action
and rewards.
The tournament will feature a series of 'all-in-every-hand' events that will
run at the site from March 15th to 19th.
The objective of these events is to see all players begin each tournament
with one chip, and antes are set at 1000.
This means that the winner of the tournament will
be determined by luck.
"We're match the exciting racing action on our poker tables with Paddy's
Lucky Score promotion and encouraging our players to grab the opportunity to win
big!" said the Communications Manager for Paddy Power.
"The all-in-every-hand structure will mean that poker skills are not as
important as luck - given Paddy's Day falls mid-week, I'm sure everyone will
have their shamrocks and four leaf clovers at the ready when they play Paddy's
Lucky Score!" he added.
Paddy Power said that most of the tournaments will have money added to their
prize pools. In honour of St Paddy's, the site will also add $500 to the Main
Event of the $10 freezeout which is scheduled for the evening of St. Patrick's
Day.
Every afternoon will see Paddy Power host low buy in events, putting players
in line to take part in exciting top paying tournaments and enjoy the atmosphere
of one of the UK's top racing events at the same time.
