Paddy Power Poker Players Shine in ECOOP
|
June 11 - It was all smiles for the team of sponsored poker players representing Paddy Power Poker, as they proudly looked back at their achievements in the European Championship of Online Poker IV.
Perhaps the greatest win came from Domceee, the online player who won the $2,500 NHL High Roller event at the ECOOP IV competition, beating a tough table and taking home $145,800 for his efforts.
"We would like to offer our heartiest congratulations to each of our players who cashed in the ECOOP IV," said the Head of Poker at Paddy Power Poker, Eric Booth. "It is great to have another ECOOP bracelet winner within the paddypowerpoker.com ranks and some of the other players were unlucky not to have matched Domceee's achievement."
While Paddy Power may not have created more bracelet winners other than Domceee, its other team members definitely did the online poker room proud.
Many of them reached final table finishes of the fourteen events that made up the latest European Championship of Online Poker IV.
Another player, ace2ace234 came in a very impressive sixth place at the $1,500 NLH Main Event and won $60,000.
Shorty291 finished 7th at the first event of ECOOP - the $200 NLH freezeout. Steviewondersdog, also finished 6th in the $100 No Limit Hold 'em rebuy event and took home $12,000.
Booth was keen to continue the lucky of the Irish at future events. "We're already looking forward to ECOOP V," he said.
