June 17 - The latest Full Tilt professional player recruit, Patrik
Antonius, has issued a direct challenge to some of the industry's top online
poker players on his blog, and invited them to meet him at Full Tilt for some
heads-up poker action.
"I would like to issue a little challenge to a few online players who have
been very successful at the biggest games online the past few months," he wrote.
"All they do is hide behind their computer screens, scared to play anyone they
think is any good."
"Durr, OMGClayAiken, trex313, Urindanger, I am looking for action and I want
a chance to play against the best," he continued. "I will play any of you on any
game on Full Tilt. I will be waiting; hopefully you're up for the challenge."
Patrik Antonius, who is now playing with his real name at Full Tilt instead
of his screen name Finddaggrind, made a direct call to some of the current top
tops in the industry. Tom Dwan, who Antonius refers to by his screen name durr,
has earned more than $2 million playing at online poker sites - and that was
before his 21st birthday! Now that he has reached the legal land tournament age,
Dwan has won ninth place in the World Poker Tour and two finishes in the Aussie
Millions. He is also gearing up to win big at the World Series of Poker event.
Antonius also called to the Dang brothers, Di and Hac who go under the names
of trex313 and Urindanger. Although the pair have not yet entered into the
tournament circuit, they are well known online, especially at Full Tilt for
playing - and winning - huge stakes.
Patrik Antonius continues to make waves in the poker industry. He was the
youngest player ever to be asked to join the high stakes Big Game at the
Bellagio and is clearly considered one of the best heads-up players in the
world.
