PKR Draws Cupids Bow - How Romantic and Incongruous
|
November 11 - Gone are the days when online poker sites offer only poker entertainment. Today, it is quite common to see popular sites linked to top casino game suites, sportsbetting sites and lotteries.
Because poker is such a social game, the latest trend is to offer poker products on top social networking sites. However, the latest venture by the PKR online poker site is sure to draw the attention of millions of players who want to expand their social circle and even find their soul mate.
PKR, the award winning poker room, recently partnered with the online dating site, Lovestruck, in order to offer its players the chance to play poker AND meet their one true love. The two sites will create a series of exciting online and offline poker events that will bring players face to face and allow them to find others who share their love for the game.
The special poker nights, aimed only for single players, will begin this month, and PKR is excited about living up to its image as a poker site that is just as much about social networking as it is about the quality of its games.
The Managing Director of Lovestruck, Brett Harding, said about the partnership. "We're always looking at innovative ways to bring our time strapped members together. By forming an alliance with PKR, we'll be providing a quality poker experience that we know our discerning single professionals will appreciate."
The Marketing Director of PKR, Simon Prodger had this to say: "Poker is a very social game and we know our players actively chat both in the game and on our forums. We've seen romance bloom on PKR and so partnering with a site like Lovestruck that caters to young, outgoing professionals is perfect for us."
