October 1 - PKR.com has just been awarded the much coveted Hotshot Operator of the Year title which was handed out at the 2008 eGaming Review Awards, which are the most prestigious awards in the online gaming industry in the United Kingdom. The awards took place on the 19th September in a top London Hotel and were adjudicated by an independent panel of online gaming experts.
Being granted the Hotshot Operator of the Year is no small feat. This title is awarded to the online casino that has had the highest impact in 2007 and 2008, but which also demonstrates the most potential to have a an impact on the global online gaming market in the future. PKR has always been considered to be one step ahead in their technology and is considered a 'next generation' site.
PKR scored more votes than other competing sites such as Everest Poker, Betsson and Betclick and grabbed the title. PKR has certainly been making headlines this year after recently announcing its 2 millionth registered player and having had a site revamp in previous months.
