|
PokerShare.com is back in business, and they're trying to gain plenty of publicity by renaming a town in the USA PokerShare.com, Alaska. The town is currently named Bluff, Alaska and the online poker room is offering $100,000 to change the name.
Poker Share is unique amongst all poker rooms in that 40% of the company is owned by the players themselves. If PokerShare.com ever goes public and is listed on a stock exchange players who have been loyal to the poker room will cash in as well. It's an innovative twist on poker rewards schemes.
The town of Bluff, Alaska is currently uninhabited and so calling it a "town" is not exactly accurate, but it is on the map and would suit Poker Share's purpose. Other candidates for renaming include Sharer, Kentucky and Bluff, Utah.
