We've been singing the praises of Pokeroom.com for a long time now, and we're happy to see that the general poker playing public agrees. They voted Poker Room the best poker website at the annual UK Gambling awards, for the second year in a row.
The Swedish online poker giants also scooped a couple of awards at the Gambling Online Magazine Awards, with their poker software deservedly winning a Gold. That makes sense to us because their software is in a different class to that of other sites, and is also compatible for non-Windows users, or for those poor unfortunates who have slow connections. They should get an award just for their Java applet, which is a stroke of genius.
